Frequently asked questions
What can I record in the Caregiver Daily Tracker?
The Caregiver Daily Tracker records your own observations of daily care, including sleep, meals, fluids, mood, medication, activity, and other areas you choose. You can add notes about what happened and what helped, with optional details such as bedtime and waking time. It does not interpret symptoms or recommend treatment.
Can I choose which observations appear each day?
Yes. Choose the observations shown for each person and leave anything you did not observe blank. You can also add one custom yes/no or number observation and change your selection later without losing saved entries.
What is free, and what does the tracker cost?
The free tracker includes one person, one editable day, and repeat PDF downloads of saved observations. Adding further days and people is listed at $19 once, with no subscription, so you can build a longer history and create summaries from it. Paid checkout is not available yet.
Where are care records stored, and how can I back them up?
Care records stay in this browser on this device, with no account or cloud sync. A journal backup restores records; a PDF is only a readable summary. After a verified purchase, a separate private access key can restore paid access in another browser, subject to a fresh purchase check. Keep both the backup and key safe: clearing browser data can remove records and local access.
Can I download a daily or weekly care summary as a PDF?
Yes. Save a day and use Download PDF to get a document containing your recorded observations and notes; no browser print dialog is required. You can also select seven days, thirty days, or a custom period to summarize saved entries. The free trial contains one saved day; adding further days requires paid access.
